Hektor Askushaj's work is fueled by passion
A passion for great food, beautiful wine and connecting with caring, fun-loving people is how Toscana Italian Grill came to be. In June 2011, Hektor Askushaj opened the Calgary Italian restaurant. His goal was to offer Calgarians’ an authentic Italian dining experience, while providing excellent service in a warm, friendly atmosphere. Toscana Italian Grill is still run by Hektor and his family. Here you can find a restaurant where the staff take the time to get to know guests, making them feel welcome and like they’re dining with family. Often Hektor can be seen toasting someone with a little bit of Limoncello or Grappa in hand.

Toscana Grill’s freshly made classic Italian food, our friendly staff and warm, relaxing atmosphere provides the perfect backdrop for any event. We have two semi-private dining rooms available for private functions. One room can seat up to 30 guests, while the second can host 65 people.
